1. Introduction

Conversation Cards ("we", "our") values your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our web application.

By using the app, you consent to the practices described here.

2. Local storage

We store your preferences (current card index, favorites and custom decks) in your browser's local storage. This data stays on your device and is never sent to us.

3. Analytics

We use GoatCounter for privacy-friendly analytics. It collects anonymous usage data (page views, referrer, user agent) without cookies and without collecting personal data.

4. AI-generated decks

When you use the Magic Deck generator, your topic text is sent to our backend proxy and then to an AI provider to generate the questions. We do not store the topic on our servers beyond what is needed to fulfil the request.

5. Third-party fonts

We load fonts from Google Fonts. Their privacy policy applies to that service.

6. Your rights (GDPR/CCPA)

Because we do not collect personal data (like names or emails) directly, most of your rights are handled automatically: you can clear your local storage at any time in your browser settings.
