About the Unpopular Opinions deck

Each card in Unpopular Opinions is a claim to agree or disagree with. Pineapple belongs on pizza. The Beatles are overrated. Everyone's salary should be public, including yours. Read it out and everyone says where they stand.

It gets good when the table splits. Make whoever is in the minority argue their case, or make someone defend the side they disagree with. Topics run from food and movies to money, parenting and work. The last card claims most unpopular opinions are actually popular, which starts its own argument.

How to play Unpopular Opinions

  1. Start the deck and read the opinion out loud. Everyone says whether they agree or disagree.
  2. Whoever is in the minority explains why. For a harder game, have someone argue the side they disagree with.
  3. Swipe to the next card whenever the argument runs out. Anyone can pass.

Going through every card takes about 25–40 min, but there's no need to finish in one sitting. The deck runs in your browser with nothing to install, and your place is saved on this device, so you can stop and pick it up later.
